Yeah, kind of a let down. I would think that they’d want it to compete with the SL65 AMG and the other performance GT cars that all have V12 but we’ll see soon enough

Well the SL is on the verge of extinction on its own (entire line, not just the AMG), and AMG is also focusing on downsizing as well. All their newer cars are turbo V8.
